This guide provides contact information and instructions for faculty and adjunct requests for complimentary examination or review copies. Faculty and adjuncts may request examination or review copies directly from publishers.

American Bar Association Publishing
An examination copy request can be made by contacting customer service or a sales representative at (800) 285-2221 or by e-mailing orders@abanet.org.
Anderson Publishing Co. (Elsevier)
Instructors can register at this website to request inspection copies of textbooks.
Aspen Publishers Co, (CCH/Wolters Kluwer)
Please login or register for an account. Next, search for the book you are interested in by ISBN, author or title. If you click on the title of the book. You may request a review copy by selecting Order and then Order A Review copy.
Bloomberg BNA Publishing
Professors may request any Bloomberg BNA book for possible adoption on a 60-day examination basis. If you notify us that a firm order is placed for at least 10 copies, your invoice will be canceled. If not, you may keep the book at a 25% educator's discount (plus tax and shipping) or return it and we will cancel your invoice.
Carolina Academic Press
Examination copies of text books are available to professors for adoption consideration who have not previously received copies. Rather than CAP sending out unsolicited books, we ask that you request a book through us, or on the book’s web page, and that your request matches the courses(s) you are teaching.
Cambridge University Press
If you are a professor and would like to enquire about Cambridge University Press’ range of academic textbooks, please contact the relevant Sales representative. To help us to respond effectively to your enquiry, please provide details of your course, including the title, course number, start date and approximate student enrolment as well as your contact information. We prefer street addresses as we use courier service to deliver examination copies.

Duke University Press
Requests for examination copies of Duke University Press paperbacks may be submitted online or by faxing a request on institutional letterhead to 919-688-4391. A maximum of three examination copies may be requested each semester. Please allow three weeks for delivery. There is a $5 handling fee for each paperback exam copy, payable by check or credit card. The exam copy becomes your desk copy if the book is adopted.

Hart Publishing (Bloomsbury Professional Law, Tax, & Accounting)
Some of our books are suitable for use as course texts and are available for inspection by lecturers. If suitable we can also arrange for student vouchers to be sent by email so that students can buy the book at a discounted rate.
Harvard University Press
In order to to help educators make course book decisions, we offer examination copies in two formats: online and paperback.
Kansas University Press
To examine one of our books for course adoption, please submit your request with the name of your school and your department and tell us the name of the course, anticipated enrollment, and semester when it will be taught.
LexisNexis
You may now request a complimentary review copy of law school publications by going from this faculty website to the LexisNexis Bookstore. The review period is 30 days.

New York University Press
"To request a desk copy or exam copy, please locate the page for the title you are interested in receiving and click on the “Request Exam or Desk Copy” link. This link will bring you to a form that you will need to fill out in order to submit a formal request. Please limit your requests to three titles or fewer."
NOLO Press
Nolo offers a maximum of 5 free examination per class, per term, one copy per title. Each additional copy is a pre-paid $8 fee per book.
Oxford University Press
"In order for your request to be processed, please browse for the title you are interested in receiving and click on the "Request Examination Copy" link on the right-hand side of the title's webpage under Valuable Links & Resources. You may also send your request via fax on university letterhead with contact information, course name, expected enrollment, and the date you would need the book by to our Faculty Services department at 919-677-1303."

"Select textbooks are available for consideration for course adoption. Depending on the textbook of interest, it may be available in either print or e-inspection. Availability depends on the icon you see on the book page."
Rowman Littlefield Publishing Group
"Provides exam copies for up to 60-days for e-copies. For print copies, select "Request a Free Exam Copy" on the page of the book you would like to review. Please allow 7-10 business days for delivery."
Solano Press

Springer Publishing
"Free print copies (also called desk copies) are available in limited quantity for adopted Springer books on mandatory course reading lists. Instructors or their agents must complete an online Free Desk Copy Form on springer.com. Previous forms are no longer accepted and all applicants will be directed to the current online form."

"Complimentary review copies of texts are (typically) available to professors who wish to consider adopting them or recommending them to their classes, if they have not received previous copies. We ask that you provide us with the name and semester of your assigned courses and your office contact information when requesting examination copies of our publications."
University of Chicago Press
"If you have adopted a University of Chicago Press book for course use, and your textbook store has ordered at least ten copies of the book, you are entitled to one free copy of the book for your own use. Desk copy requests must be on departmental letterhead or utilize one of the standard AAP, NACS, or other forms. Please include the name and enrollment of the relevant course, as well as the name of the bookstore who handles your textbook requirements."
University of Georgia Press
"Examination copies are available to instructors considering a book for classroom adoption. Please limit examination copy requests to two titles. We reserve the right to limit examination copies to appropriate courses."

"Provides 30-day free access to the online legal bookstore where you can review the titles digitally. If the book you are requesting is not available in our online legal bookstore, or if you request a hard copy of the book, we will send you the hard copy to review for 60 days. Included in the hard copy shipment will be a copy of the invoice for the book. If at the end of the 60 days you decide to adopt the book for your class or publish a book review you may keep the book free-of-charge. If you decide not to adopt the book for your class or publish a review, you may return the book and the enclosed invoice back to us. Or, if you would like to keep the book, you can submit payment for the enclosed invoice."
