When academic priorities allow, the law library is open to members of the bench, bar, and general public who may use the library’s resources to conduct their own research. These patrons MAY NOT check out items, use library study rooms, access electronic databases remotely, or request interlibrary loans.
Members of the bench, bar, and general public MUST sign in at the School of Law security desk before visiting the library or using library resources.
Members of the bench, bar, and general public may utilize Reserve items by leaving a photo ID at the circulation desk while they use the item. Reserve items MUST remain in the library.
Children under the age of 15 MUSTbe accompanied by an adult at all times. The adult is responsible for the child’s conduct. The library staff will ask a child displaying disruptive or unsafe behavior and the accompanying adult to leave the library.
Animals other than qualified service animals ARE NOTallowed in the library.
The law library reserves the right to restrict or deny access to any person or group of people as it deems necessary.
Access to the law library AFTER 8:00 p.m. is restricted to Texas A&M University School of Law Students, faculty, staff, and alumni. No members of the public may enter the library after 8:00 p.m.
