This guide provides an introduction to Family Law resources available in the law library. Please note that access to the listed materials may be limited to Texas A&M University School of Law faculty, staff, and students. Public patrons may view the Public Patron's Guide to Family Law for resources that may be of assistance. You may also search the catalog for additional resources

Common family law issues include: divorces and pre-nuptial agreements; custody matters, including child support and visitation; termination of parental rights and adoptions; domestic violence, protective orders and enforcement of court orders; juvenile court proceedings for troubled or abused children; and financial issues regarding real and personal property, debts, tax and bankruptcy issues.

Texas A&M School of Law offers a concentration in Family Law and the Family Law and Veteran's Benefits Clinic for students interested in this area of law.
